Hummer’s 100 MPG H3

Hummer’s 100 MPG H3

Raser Technologies has made a 60 MPG (miles per gallon) SUV engine and now, with help from state of the art lithium-ion batteries, has created a 100 MPG Hummer H3 power plant. Can This H3 Volt be the savior of Hummer? This H3 contains a 268 horse power electric motor, which hooks directly to the transmission. A stand alone four-cylinder gasoline engine replaces the previous V6/V8 mods and drives a generator making electricity after about 40 miles (once the lithium ion batteries are spent).

The Raser Tech electric Hummer H3 can be charged via 120V or 220V electricity via a plug-in port. Some industry experts feel, once this technology is complete, that anyone who wants to pick up this advanced battery operated Hummer ((cough) GM (cough)) could easily do so.
