At least that’s what Raser Technologies is saying, as they visit Washington DC in hopes to gain loans to purchase Hummer from GM, saving it from Chinese ownership. As we reported in the past, Chinese Military Defense Contractors were interested in purchasing Hummer, ever since General Motors spilled the beans about cutting off the big mother trucker brand.

Now it seems Raser, the company who produced an electric 100-mile-per-gallon H3 (which actually only gets 33 miles per gallon) is making a bid for the make. They strolled on down to Washington (or as it’s pronounced in the South Philly/Delaware region: ‘Warshington”) to “acquire government subsidies” in a bid for Hummer’s purchase, which they can rework for their own purpose – the evil plan of a fuel efficient Hummer!! Maybe next time it will actually reach 100 MPG before production begins.
